Samsung has just unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan event the newest member of the Galaxy S20 family, the S20 Fan Edition. The premium flagship smartphone features some of the best characteristics of the Galaxy S20 series including the super smooth scrolling display, AI-powered camera, advanced chipset, hyper-fast connectivity, all-day battery, expandable storage and a streamlined premium design.
Samsung’s latest flagship offering has a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-O display with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. It houses a 7nm 64-bit octa-core processor paired with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has a generous 4,500mAh battery with super fast charging capability and wireless powershare.
The S20 FE boasts a 32-megapixel pro-grade camera in the front while the rear features a triple camera setup composed of a 12-megapixel ultra wide camera, 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. With Galaxy S20 FE’s large image sensors including tetra-binning technology and multi-frame processing, users can take richer and more vibrant photos even in low light. In addition to that, AI integration can also detect and remove blur and suggest the best shots.
“We are constantly speaking to our fans and taking feedback, and we heard what they loved the most about our Galaxy S20 series, what features they used most often, and what they would want to see in a new smartphone,” said Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business for Samsung Electronics. “Galaxy S20 FE is an extension of the Galaxy S20 family, designed to bring meaningful innovation to even more people and give them a chance to do the things they love with the best of Galaxy.”
The Galaxy S20 FE comes with six vibrant colors including Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Red, Cloud Mint, Cloud White, and Cloud Orange. It also features a premium textured haze effect that minimizes fingerprints and smudges.
The Galaxy S20 FE has a starting price of $699 (P33,969) and will be available via Samsung.com beginning October 2. However, Samsung Philippines has yet to announce the availability and price of its latest offering in the country.
