With the ongoing No Gain No Love ending this October, there will be a spin-off series dubbed Spice Up Our Love that focuses on the love story of a female erotic novel writer and a corporate heir. Mujigae

If you're up for a heartwarming Filipino family film with a Korean twist, you might want to check out Mujigae. After her Filipina mother’s death in South Korea, five-year old Filipino-Korean Mujigae (played by Ryrie Sophia) is sent to the Philippines under the care of her estranged aunt named Sunny. Will the little girl be able to win Sunny’s love and affection? Will Mujigae be able to adjust to her new life in the Philippines?

Family by Choice

Status: Starts streaming on Viu on Oct. 9
Starring: Hwang In-youp, Jung Chae-yeon, and Bae Hyun-sung

Family by Choice is a Korean adaptation of the beloved Chinese drama Go Ahead. It's about three young people who became close due to the circumstances of their dads who raised them. They go their separate ways and meet again a decade later. Things get complicated when romantic feelings are revealed.

A Virtuous Business

Status: Starts streaming on Netflix on Oct. 12
Starring: Kim So-yeon, Yeon Woo-jin

In A Virtuous Business, four friends called "Bangpan Sisters" living in the countryside join together to sell adult products door to door. Set in the rural village of Geumje in the 90s, this black comedy will surely make us laugh and think.

Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born

Status: Starts streaming on Disney+ on Oct. 12
Starring: Kim Tae-ri, Shin Ye-eun, Ra Mi-ran

Kim Tae-ri is back in KDramalandia with a music-themed series Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born, where she plays the titular role. Here, a poor but talented girl from a seaside town named Jeongnyeon tries her best to enter a traditional women’s theater company. Her journey will surely inspire the viewers.

Guilty Pleasure

Status: Showing in cinemas starting Oct. 16
Starring: Lovi Poe, JM De Guzman, Jameson Blake with Johnny Revilla, Soliman Cruz, Sarah Edwards, Dustin Yu, Angelica Lao, Raf Pineda, Adrienne Vergara, Christian Ty, Lorraine Wong, Ella Cristofani

Lovi Poe is back on the big screen with the sexy drama film Guilty Pleasure. She, along with JM De Guzman and Jameson Blake, are all lawyers in this film who are entangled in a twisted love triangle. You can expect daring yet sensible scenes from this sought-after comeback movie of the actress. Apart from being the lead star of the film, she is also a co-producer (C’est Lovi Productions) in partnership with Regal Entertainment Inc. featuring the screenplay of Noreen Capili and under the direction of Connie S.A. Macatuno.

Forever Young

Status: Starts airing on GMA on Oct. 21
Starring: Euwenn Mikaell with Nadine Samonte, Michael De Mesa, Eula Valdez, Rafael Rosell, Alfred Vargas, Althea Ablan, Bryce Eusebio, Abdul Raman, Yasser Marta, Matt Lozano, Princess Aliyah

Firefly and Lolo and the Kid lead star Euwenn Mikaell is set to make our hearts melt in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series Forever Young. The child wonder plays the role of Rambo Agapito, a 25-year old with a rare condition called panhypopituitarism, which slows down his growth and retains his childlike appearance. Despite the challenges he encounters, he is determined to become the voice of the oppressed by running for mayor in his town.

Venom: The Last Dance

Status: Showing in cinemas starting Oct. 23
Starring: Tom Hardy, Alanna Ubach, Juno Temple

For the final movie of the Venom trilogy, Tom Hardy is back as Venom/Eddie in what appears to be his last film playing one of the most complex Marvel characters. Haunted by a mysterious military man, the duo must make a life-changing decision.

Hellbound 2

Status: Starts streaming on Netflix on Oct. 25
Starring: Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Sing-cheol

Last but not the least is the highly anticipated second season of Hellbound. This horror drama now stars Kim Sung Cheol as cult leader Jung Ji-su, who passed away and was sent to hell in the finale of the first season. He will be resurrected in the new episodes. The original lead star here was Yoo Ah-in, who was dropped from the project due to his recent drug scandal.
