Nintendo has announced the release dates for three upcoming Pokémon games for the Switch. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will launch this November 19, while Pokémon Legends: Arceus will arrive for the console on January 28, 2022.

Loved Diamond and Pearl on the Nintendo DS? Relive your childhood days of exploring the Sinnoh region in the new Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes. These updated versions of the games will let you enjoy the iconic fourth generation of Pokémon in 3D graphics and animation. Apart from that, you get the classic gameplay the franchise is most popular for.

Meanwhile, Legends: Arceus will refresh the Pokémon experience. Finally, we can catch ‘em all and collect gym badges in an open-world RPG. Serving as a prequel to the other two games, Legends: Arceus will take place in a much-older Sinnoh region where there weren’t any trainers or organized competition. In Legends, Nintendo says you can explore the world to “study pokémon’s behaviors, sneak up to them, then throw poke balls."

This year, Pokémon celebrates its 25th anniversary. The franchise recently released the remade Pokémon Snap for the Nintendo Switch in April.
