This Swiftie wasn’t able to secure a ticket for the Eras tour, but instead of purchasing one for a hefty amount, he applied as a security guard, enabling him to have full access to the Nashville shows.

Contrary to common security guards who always keep their straight face on, Davis Perrigo was seen singing his heart out during the Eras stop in Nissan Stadium in Nashville that was held on May 5 to 7 which made him viral, he was seen singing along to I Knew You Were Trouble and Love Story.

Recounting the Enchanted nights as a Swiftie, Davis—who works as an accountant by the day—revealed how he got to experience Eras tour with the best spot in the stadium.

“I applied for tickets through a Verified Fan program, but didn’t get them like a lot of other people,” he said during his interview with CNN.

“But I knew I still wanted to go to the concert, so I knew I would find a way to get in,” he said. Although he tried to find and secure a ticket, he said that the prices were too high.

“The ticket prices were crazy on the secondhand market,” he said. “I mean, this is the biggest artist in the world coming to town.”

His Swiftie heart didn’t falter, so he found a way to go to the concert with the best spot in the stadium without having to pay a hefty amount for a ticket.

“So, I applied to be a security guard at Taylor Swift’s concert,” he said. “To be honest, I wasn’t really going to be a security guard, so I wasn’t particularly concerned about security. I was more there just to be kind of be a body and really just to enjoy the show,” he added.

Davis also revealed he got reprimanded once by the security team during one show, saying that he was "going too hard" and he "needed to take it down a notch."

Since he got there for work, Davis was prohibited from using his phone to document the best nights.

They told him, “If you take out your phone, we will get you out of here quickly.”

“[So] I put my phone off, like I didn’t even touch it all night long,” he said.

Thanks to other Swifties who recorded him singing along as he was still able to have the moment immortalized—especially since it went viral.

“It was awesome. As close as I would ever dream of being really,” he said. “It was unbelievable.”

“If you weren't dancing, [or] if you weren’t moving your mouth, like singing along, then there’s something wrong with you,” he quipped.

Speaking to local outlet News Channel 5, he said that he saved the viral videos of him to treasure the moment.

"I showed someone at work, like, 'Hey, this video got 10,000 views,' and then by that night, it was over one million. I was like, 'Oh my goodness, this is out of control," he said.

Of course, as a solid Swiftie, he knows all of the songs of the pop star, which his wife approves of.

"My wife jokes that I sing Taylor Swift songs with such passion for someone who's never been broken up with," Perrigo added.
