Weekend Watchlist: 'Snowpiercer,' 'Fate: The Winx Saga' and more
And just like that, we've made it to the end of the first month of the year. It's Friday and once again, we bring to you a fresh serving of recommendations on our weekend watchlist.
The post-apocalyptic dystopian TV drama Snowpiercer, based on the 2013 South Korean–Czech film of the same name directed by Bong Joon-ho is back for a second season. There's also a new teen drama series about a bunch of modern-day fairies in the same vein as The Vampire Diaries inspired by Nickelodeon's animated series Winx Club, as well as a lighthearted Goonies-inspired treasure hunting flick called Finding Ohana.

Snowpiercer (Season 2)

Synopsis: Former CIA operative Frank Moses is basking in normality. But he's forced to return to old habits when an assasin puts a target on his back.
Penguin Bloom
Synopsis: As a mom copes with the aftermath of a harrowing accident, she finds inspiration from an injured magpie taken in by her family. Based on a true story.
The Dig
Synopsis: On the eve of World War II, a British widow hires a self-taught archaeologist to dig up mysterious formations on her land, leading to a staggering find.
Lovestruck in the City

Run On
