Filipinos have spent most of their time on Google last year, even as their porn site browsing habits have come first before reading the news online, according to a report from a data repository website.

According to the "Digital 2022: The Philippines" report published on Feb. 15, Pornhub and XVideos2 were the 6th and 7th most visited websites in the Philippines last November 2021.

The report tracked the country's latest internet, mobile, and social media stats, as well as essential insights into its digital use including online search behaviors, activity frequency, and other trends for a particular week, month, or the whole year. It was released by DataReportal, in partnership with creative agency We Are Social and strategic consultancy Kepios.

Citing data from SEMrush, an online ranking data platform, the report showed that Pornhub has 39.9 million total visits, while XVideos2 has 34 million in November 2021.

Pornhub last ranked 5th with 67.6 million visits, according to DataReportal's Feb. 11, 2021, which was based on December 2020 data.

XVideos2 wasn't on the list last time, though two porn sites were once part of Top 20: XNXX on the 8th spot with 34.3 million visits and YouJizz on the 16th spot with 17.4 million visits.

Google is still the top website among Filipinos, with 499 million visits in November 2021. Though it's a decline from the previous edition's results where it got 750 million visits.

Facebook and Youtube followed, with 176 million and 164 million visits, maintaining their ranks last time.

Filipinos are also still fond of "adding to cart" on e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada, ranking 4th and 9th with 47.8 million and 26.6 million visits. In the last report, Lazada ranked 9th while Shopee was 13th place.

Inquirer.net and ABS-CBN, meanwhile, were the only news websites that made it to the list, placing 15th and 18th. Still, it was an improvement from their former spots, at 17th and 19th.
