It’s a brand new year! Let’s bid farewell to the terrible year that was 2020 by taking a look back at the events of the past and kickstart the new year with all-new seasons of our favorite TV series and some heartwarming films.

For those who want to start fresh or go somewhere new this year, Netflix also has a few documentaries lined up that may just inspire you to live with less and help you travel vicariously.

Here are some of the newest film and series arrivals on the streaming service that you can watch to ring in the new year.

Death to 2020

Synopsis: As the year we all want to end finally does, take a look back at 2020’s mad glory in this comedic retrospective from the creators of “Black MIrror.”

Cobra Kai (Season 3)

Synopsis: Thirty four years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso. Season 3 drops on January 1.

Mortal Engines

Synopsis: In a post-apocalyptic new world, a young woman andher rebel friends seek to stop the giant mobile city of London from devouring everything in its path.

Pride and Prejudice

Synopsis:  In Jane Austen’s tale of 19th century England, Mrs. Bennet hopes to marry her daughters to prosperous gentlemen including new arrival Mr. Darcy.

Hidden Figures

Synopsis: Three brilliant African American women overcome bigotry and sexism to become the brains behind the launch of the first American astronaut into space.

The Minimalists

Synopsis: They’ve built a movement out of minimalism. Longtime friends Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus share how our lives can be better with less.
