"Handa ka bang ako'y bitawan?"
This is one of the many heartbreaking questions December Avenue and Belle Mariano are asking in their new collaboration song Wala Nang Iba.
The melodic and, at the same time, melancholic track was released by the band today, June 30, on streaming music platforms and YouTube.
In the comments section of the post, December Avenue gave a glimpse of what it was like working with the He's Into Her star for the new song.
"Belle is a very very talented artist, and we were lucky enough to have her collaborate with us on this song despite her [EXTREMELY] BUSY schedule!" the band wrote.
The song was written and composed by Jet Danao & Zel Bautista and arranged by December Avenue.
It expresses having conflicts within a relationship but still choosing to hold on and make it work. The chorus boasts a euphonious harmony with the blending of the voices of the artists.
Fans were quick to extend their support for the heartrending track and point out how much they can relate to it in the comments section of the post.
One user wrote, "Pang ilang play ko na 'to this morning pa lang. Malapit ko na makabisado. Grabe ang ganda ng song. Ramdam mo yung kwento. Mahal nyo isa't-isa pero may problema kayo, hindi lang masabi kung ano. Pero pareho ninyong gustong kumapit pa."
Another one said, "Omsim (mismo), relate sa lyrics and kudos sa boses ng Deccember Avenue at ni Belle! Blending is superb!"
"DecAve × Belle never disappoints. Ang ganda ng blending kahit nananakit yung lyrics. Basta oo ang gandaaaaa," a fan quipped.
According to December Avenue, the song is a sequel to the lyric video of their song Ilang Beses Kita Mamahalin? released last March.
Prior to her collab with December Avenue, Belle released Somber, the first part of her two-part second album. She released her debut album, Daylight, in 2021.
