As she turns 27 today, Nadine Lustre marks yet another milestone in her singing career with the release of her new album Wildest Dreams.

The actress took inspiration from American singer-songwriter Jhene Aiko’s Trip (2017) in crafting the alt-R&B piece—her first full album since her self-titled 2014 EP.

Among the 12 songs that revolve around “self-love and empowerment,” six will be part of the visual album that is set to stream at 9 p.m. tonight, October 31.

Lustre collaborated with her then-boyfriend James Reid for Complicated Love, as well as Massiah (Haissam Morton) for White Rabbit. The album additionally features Save a Place—a touching song about her late brother Isaiah.

A year in the making, most of the songs were written by Lustre herself alongside KINGwAw (Bret Jackson) and Massiah of record label Careless Music Manila. The album, on the other hand, was co-produced by KINGwAw with Isagani Palabyab and Kahlil Ho Atienza. Reid worked on other parts of the production process.
