It’s official! EXO’s Chen and non-celeb wife welcome the birth of their second baby
Kim Jongdae, also known as EXO’s Chen, is now a father to two beautiful children.
In an exclusive report from Korean media outlet Xportnews, Chen’s non-celebrity wife gave birth to their second child.
SM Entertainment, Chen’s agency, later confirmed the news through an official statement. However, the agency didn’t reveal additional details about the baby.
“It's true that Chen's wife recently gave birth to their second child,” SM Entertainment’s statement read.
Chen announced his marriage to his non-celebrity partner through a handwritten letter to fans in January 2020. The couple welcomed their first child in April of the same year.
In October 2020, Chen enlisted for his mandatory military duties as a public service worker. The EXO member is expected to be discharged in April 2022.
Chen debuted as the main vocalist of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO in 2012. He also made a mark as a soloist with the tracks Best Luck, Everytime, Beautiful Goodbye, and Hello.
