The Forgotten Island cast and filmmakers are headed to Manila this month!

Dreamworks Philippines announced on Wednesday that stars H.E.R. and Liza Soberano will be frontlining the "Tayo Na, Philippines!" event on Aug. 25, 7 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Main Atrium.

They will be joined by Filipino-American director Januel Mercado, American director Joel Crawford, and producer Mark Swift for a series of special events and screenings.

"Be part of this special homecoming and celebrate Forgotten Island with us! Tayo na, Philippines," they wrote.

Forgotten Island, set in the 1990s, revolves around Jo (H.E.R.) and Raissa (Soberano) who grew up in what appears to be rural Philippines. When they're about to part ways for college, they stumble upon a portal that brings them to a magical world containing all the monsters of Filipino myths.

Aside from the two leads, the film's voice cast includes Lea Salonga, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, Manny Jacinto, Amielynn Abellera, Dave Franco, Jenny Slate, and Ronny Chieng.

The film's soundtrack is led by a standout lineup of Filipino artists, including Salonga, SB19, BINI, and Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza.

According to Variety, "the music in the film blends influences from the 1980s and ’90s, particularly drawing inspiration from Filipino and Filipino-American musical culture."

Forgotten Island shows in cinemas nationwide this Sept. 23 before its global release.
