Finally, some good news: Teletubbies dropping a reunion album after 23 years
The reunion to end all reunions.
Mark your calendars, as the popular children's series Teletubbies is set to release a new album in celebration of their 25th anniversary next year.
Titled “Ready, Steady, Go!” the is set to bring back the colorful world of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po through 10 new uplifting songs.
The famous quartet has already released teasers of their first single Peekaboo showcasing their perpetually cheerful faces and colorful aesthetic. They are from a children’s show, after all.
Meanwhile, their last album titled “Teletubbies: The Album” was released 23 years ago in 1998. The album peaked at #6 on the Billboard's Kids Albums chart in February 1999.
The group will release an accompanying music video for the 10 songs every Saturday until November, while the album will be released in its entirety on Oct. 15.
The social media pages of the Teletubbies have also been in full swing in recent months leading up to the reunion announcement. They’ve gone to reference fellow chart-toppers Billie Eilish, Frank Ocean, Drake, and even recently requested a collaboration with Lil Nas X.
