Is the 'Van Gogh Alive' exhibit returning to BGC soon?
Did you miss your chance to experience the world-famous Vincent Van Gogh Alive exhibit when it came to the Philippines way back in 2019? You may be able to get another chance as the BGC (Bonifacio Global City) Arts Center has seemingly teased its return.
In its social media pages, BGC Art Center posted a picture of Van Gogh's iconic Starry Night painting with the question, "Guess who's returning to BGC this October?"
"One of the most famous artists in the history of art comes alive this October at the BGC Arts Center. Stay tuned!" they captioned.
To recall, the Vincent Van Gogh Alive exhibit was shown at the One Bonifacio High Street Mall from October to December back in 2019. Presented by Grande Exhibitions, it is dubbed the "world’s most visited multi-sensory exhibition experience," having had 8.5 million visitors in over 90 cities around the globe.
The show boasted more than 3,000 of Van Gogh’s artworks and masterpieces through a thrilling display that fills giant screens, walls, columns, ceilings, and even the floor. These images also change as they synchronize with the classical music playing in the background.
Vincent Van Gogh Alive is currently on display in Austria, Thailand, China, Sweden, England, Indiana, and Indonesia. Tickets were priced at P750 during its first run to the Philippines.
