Congdragulations, you are the winner of this week's "Maxie challenge."

Maxie Andreison has just been announced as one of the ten contestants of Queen of the Universe season 2, the world's "first all-drag, all-singing" competition.

Competing simply Maxie, the Filipino drag queen will be the international competition TV show's first contestant to represent the Philippines. The Pinoy's competitors will hail from Australia, Brazil, Israel, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Aside from some of the aforementioned countries, last season's contestants also came from Canada, China, Denmark, and France. These included RuPaul's Drag Race forever finalist Jujubee (Season 2, All Stars 1, All Stars 5, UK vs. The World 1).

"I have always dreamt of performing on an international stage and I can't believe it's finally happening!!! I have been waiting for this all my life! Thank you for all the love and support! We will fight and we will get that crown! Where's my Team Maxie at?!" the drag queen posted on social media.

Maxie has posted song covers in and out of drag, performing hits like Beyoncé's If I Were A Boy, Gino Padilla's Closer You and I, Bandang Lapis' Nang Dumating Ka, and JuanThugs n Harmony's Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.

Drag queens who expressed support for Maxie include RuPaul's Drag Race Filipino contestant Ongina (Season 1, All Stars 5) and Turing of the first season of Drag Race Philippines.

The show is produced by World of Wonder, whose credits include the Emmy-winning reality competition show RuPaul's Drag Race. In fact, the first season's judges included Drag Race judge Michelle Visage and alumnus Trixie Mattel, who competed in Season 7 and won All Stars 3.

The first season saw contestants competing for a $250,000 (P13.74 million) prize, which could increase in the second season given that the related show RuPaul's Drag Race has seen bigger prize pools in recent seasons like Season 14 and All Stars 7.

Queen of the Universe season 2 will stream starting Mar. 31 on Paramount+.
