Maki to perform in 'BINIverse' world tour at the Philippine Arena
Filipino singer and songwriter Maki is set to join BINI in the Philippine leg of their BINIverse World Tour.
On Instagram, the Dilaw singer announced that he would be among the performers at the concert. He also posted a candid photo with the nation's girl group and the official poster.
"Shux," the caption read.
In December, BINI announced they're set to hold their first-ever world tour dubbed BINIverse.
The tour will kick off at the Philippine Arena on Feb. 15, which will be followed by stops in Singapore, Dubai, London, and the USA.
Ticket prices range from P1800 (Gen Ad) to P11,800 (VIP Seated with Soundcheck).
In addition to the world tour, BINI is set to release a comeback single this year, Blink Twice.
Maki, or Ralph William Datoon, gained attention with his hit songs Saan? and Bakit? from his debut EP Tanong, released in 2023. He also gained prominence with his song Dilaw, which charted on the global Spotify chart, making it the third Filipino song to do so, following Juan Karlos' Ere and gins&melodies' Babaero featuring Hev Abi.
In August, the 25-year-old singer released a single titled Namumula. He was a guest performer in LANY's October 2024 concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Meanwhile, BINI—composed of Aiah, Mikha, Gwen, Stacey, Colet, Jhoanna, Sheena, and Maloi—wrapped their three-night sold-out Grand BINIverse shows in November the Smart Araneta Coliseum, which featured a star-studded lineup of guest performers such as Regine Velasquez, Vice Ganda, and Gary Valenciano.
BINI was likewise included on Teen Vogue's "12 Girl Groups to Watch in 2024" list released in May and in the Grammy Awards' list of "12 Girl Groups To Know Now" in October.
They also emerged as one of the top artists in Spotify Philippines for 2024, joining Taylor Swift, Hev Abi, Ariana Grande, and Bruno Mars.
