The University Athletic Association of the Philippines' Season 89 opening ceremony, men's basketball, and cheerdance competition will all be streamed live for free on the One Sports YouTube channel starting Sept. 12.
On Sept. 13, a day after the opening ceremony, the men's basketball tournament will begin with three matches.
Host FEU Tamaraws and the Adamson Soaring Falcons are set to play the first match at 12 noon at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
At 2:30 p.m. on the same day, defending champions De La Salle Green Archers will go against the NU Bulldogs.
The main event at 6 p.m. will have the UP Fighting Maroons butting heads with the UST Growling Tigers.
Fans can also access the men's basketball games at onesports.ph as well as the UAAP Varsity Channel and the Cignal Play app.
There are eight member schools in the UAAP: Adamson University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, National University, University of the East, University of the Philippines, and the University of Santo Tomas.
Aside from men's and women's basketball and cheerdance, the UAAP features tournaments in 18 other sports: athletics, badminton, ballroom dance, baseball, beach volleyball, chess, dance sports, e-sports, fencing, football, judo, softball, street dance, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, and volleyball.
