AKG Games Philippines to host local Hearthstone Tournament

AKG Games Philippines has recently announced the Hearthstone Guild Series Philippines open to all Pinoy Hearthstone players with over P60,000 in prizes.

The Hearthstone Guild Series is an official tournament organized in collaboration with local Hearthstone Communities across the world and is officially supported by Blizzard Entertainment.

Hearthstone, set within the Warcraft universe, is a turn-based card game between two opponents using constructed decks of 30 cards along with a selected hero with a unique power.

Players use their limited mana crystals to play abilities or summon minions to attack the opponent, with the goal of destroying the opponent's hero. Winning matches and completing quests earn in-game gold, rewards in the form of new cards, and other in-game prizes.

The Philippine iteration of the tournament will first have a qualifier stage where players will compete for a spot in the main bracket of the event. 

Participants can choose to enter with a friend in the Battlegrounds mode of the game, or with three other players to compete in Standard mode.

Registration for the tournament opens on June 25 and is free. Hopeful winners may register at AKG Games’ Battlefly page.
