Bea Alonzo now officially a Kapuso

Published Jul 01, 2021 4:08 pm

After weeks of rumors and murmurs about her latest career move, it's now official: Bea Alonzo is now a Kapuso.

GMA Network announced on Thursday, July 1 that the 33-year-old actress has officially joined GMA-7, after being with rival network ABS-CBN for two decades.

Bea's contract signing with GMA-7 happened at the Edsa Shangri-La, Manila, in Mandaluyong City today.

Bea will have a media conference later this afternoon for GMA-7 to formally welcome the actress.

Bea's move to the Kapuso Network is easily the highest profile network transfer in show business since ABS-CBN ceased its free TV operations after losing its franchise last year.
