The stars of the hit fantasy K-drama—Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun, and Yoo In-na—are coming together for a new variety program to celebrate the show’s 10th anniversary.
Korean television network tvN has now released a teaser video showing the cast getting together.
"Congratulations on our 10th anniversary!" Dong-wook told his co-stars in Korean as he raised his glass for a toast.
The group could also be seen visiting some of the locations where they filmed their show, including the Gangneung seaside that became one of the drama’s most iconic settings. The teaser also featured candid moments of the cast laughing together, reminiscing about their time filming the beloved series.
The program, called "Sparkling Together - Guardian 10th Anniversary Journey," will premiere on Saturday, July 4, at 9:10 p.m.
Goblin tells the story of Kim Shin, an immortal goblin who is searching for the one person destined to end his eternal life—the goblin’s bride. Along the way, he crosses paths with a grim reaper, cheerful high school student Ji Eun-tak, and restaurant owner Sunny.
The series aired on tvN from December 2016 to January 2017. Its final episode recorded an 18.68% nationwide audience share, making it the seventh highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history.
It also received critical acclaim, having won numerous awards at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards.
