LOOK: Guests at Laureen Uy, Miggy Cruz's pre-wedding welcome party in Coron
On the eve of their nuptials, entrepreneurs Laureen Uy and Miggy Cruz got together some friends in Coron, Palawan for a welcome party to celebrate their wedding week.
Laureen reposted the Instagram Stories of guests at the event, which happened at Club Paradise Palawan on April 7.
"Nacho ordinary love," the event's title read in the posts.
The party took place at the beach, with guests donning resort wear mostly in yellow, red, and green tones.
Some familiar faces seen at the welcome dinner include chef Jeremy Favia, businessman Rambo Nuñez, Sunnies Face co-founder Jess Wilson, New Age Digital's Erika Hocson, DJ Bea Fabregas, Kalma Foundation's Kim Cruz, actress Kaila Estrada, host Nicole Andersson, film director Gino Santos, photographer Andrei Suleik, fashion blogger Camille Co, Neon Island Clothing's Chi Loyzaga Gibbs, Vitamin Marketing Studios's Kaye Naval, interior designer Jonah Tamayo, internet personality Michelle Dy, and HW-Angs' Jonnifer Santos.
In an Instagram post, Sunnies Studios co-founder Bea Soriano-Dee shared a carousel containing photos with Georgina and Jess on the picturesque beach, as well as a video of Laureen in her wedding gown walking and fooling around.
“[C]oworking friends celebrating [Laureen] and [Miggy]’s special wedding week in this beautiful [Coron Island],” Bea wrote in the caption. She also put the geotag as Club Paradise.
In a series of Instagram Stories, blogger David Guison shared glimpses of Club Paradise, including the natural surroundings.
Laureen donned a white gown with a corset and tulle skirt by Rajo Laurel during the welcome party. Meanwhile, Miggy matched his wife-to-be as he was also in all-white printed polo and pants.
VV&Co's Verniece Enciso Dichaves also shared videos of the happy couple dancing, as well as a photo of the earth-toned table set up with red and yellow flowers for centerpieces.
Other guests, as seen in Verniece’s Stories, include her husband Alfred Dichaves, content creators Kryz Uy, Lissa Kahayon, and Olivia Lazuardy, and Miss Universe Philippines 2023 second runner-up Angelique Manto.
Anne Curtis, her husband Erwan Heussaff, and their daughter Dahlia also attended the welcome party.
“Magical moments and 1st day of celebrating [Laureen] and [Miggy]’s luuuuurve,” Anne said.
Her post includes shots with fashion director Daryl Chang and celebrity photographer BJ Pascual, the beach, and a solo photo of Dahlia, which she said "issa mood."
Miggy popped the question to Laureen at the Joshua Tree National Park in California on May 17. The two have been together since 2016.
