South Korean superstar Lee Seung-Gi is in talks with former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis "Chavit" Singson to develop a Korean lifestyle hub in the country.

In a media interview, Singson disclosed that the My Girlfriend is a Gumiho lead star closed a partnership deal with him alongside Korean investors for the said project that is expected to be completed in two to three years.

"Magtatayo kami ng Little Seoul dito sa Metro Manila, mga buildings, mga centers. Do'n sa Metrowalk. Parang little Korea pero tatawagin nating Little Seoul," Singon said, explaining that parts of the Metrowalk will be converted for the project.

The Korean actor revealed that he has future plans to shoot movies in Vigan, Ilocos Sur after meeting with the governor last March 10.

“I visited Vigan and I found it a beautiful city. Someday we would like to film a series there," the actor shared.

“It’s only our second time to meet but we are looking forward to more Philippine projects together,” he added.

Lee returned to the country for his "The Dreamer's Dream Chapter 2" Asia tour concert at the New Frontier Theater on May 27. He last visited the Philippines after holding a fan meet for his Vagabond series at the same venue in 2019.

The Korean actor and singer is known for his other series such as A Korean Odyssey, Mouse, The King 2 Hearts, and more. Lee recently tied the knot with actress Lee Da In last April 7 after two years of dating.
