FIRST LOOK: B*VERSE ‘BTS, Singing the Stars’ exhibit is now in Manila
Filo ARMYs, the long wait is finally over! B*Verse “BTS, Singing the Stars” has officially launched here in Manila.
Last Tuesday, May 14, Araneta City, YiZ Entertainment CEO Jeo Yee, and brand partners officially launched the BTS-themed exhibition with an exclusive first look and a star-studded purple carpet event attended by P-pop artists like AJAA, DIONE, 1st.One, Bilib, Jeff and Brian of Yes My Love, KAIA, and TikTok sensation Arshie Larga at Level 4 of Gateway Mall 2 in Cubao, Quezon City.
ICYDK, B*VERSE “BTS, Singing the Stars” exhibition is a “multi-sensory experimental treat” for fans to learn more about their bias.
We're sharing our experience to give you more reasons to attend the exhibition.
VR Room
First in the exhibit is the VR Room where visitors can catch BTS’ performances during The Fact Music Awards 2021-2022.
ARMYs, get ready to scream, cry, and fill your hearts with joy. Watching their performances on VR is synonymous with a front-row barricade concert experience—you'll get to see their faces up close as if you are just beneath the stage watching them live!
Guests, media friends, and ARMYs who got to experience the VR performances firsthand couldn’t contain their excitement in their seats as they sang along and danced with BTS as they performed their hit songs Butter and Permission to Dance. Some even reached out their hand in the air as if they could touch and greet the members of the group.
Watching their performances on VR devices is a one-of-a-kind concert experience. Even if you aren’t a fan, you will surely enjoy the exhibit as you’ll get to witness their amazing talents.
The Seven Planets
The Seven Planets are rooms that showcase each member’s individuality and personality.
Even with no photos and videos allowed, guests and visitors took their time to roam around each planet and got to be in the moment of witnessing what is inside each member’s room – which is surely enough to be remembered even without a memento.
These rooms are namely: RM’s Nature Planet, Jin’s Satellite, Suga’s Art Planet, J-Hope's Planet, Jimin’s Aqua Planet, V’s Film Planet, and Jung Kook’s Prism Planet.
Army Way
Entering the Army Way is a trip down memory lane especially for ARMYs who have been with BTS for a long time.
While inside the Army Way exhibit, some guests and ARMYS get to recall stories from different eras of BTS music journey and share their fan experiences.
The Post Show: Meteor Shower
Next is The Post Show: Meteor Shower. It is an immersive post-show where the TMA performances are projected in a 360-degree view – almost looking at a galaxy of your favorite stars.
There is also a gift shop and photo zone at the end of the exhibit where visitors can acquire official B*VERSE “BTS, Singing the Stars” merchandise including special postcards, a 2024 calendar, tote bags, shirts, and a special clear file set.
Even if you're not getting anything, you don't come home empty-handed. Each pass holder will receive a special gift from the exhibit which includes a zip lock pouch containing one random photocard of BTS members and a battery-operated Army star badge.
Photo Zone
The Photo Zone is where visitors can capture photos with the members and their biases standees that can serve as mementos for this extraordinary experience—it was definitely a hit for many!
Visitors are free to take photos of the areas of the exhibit such as The VR Room, The Orbital Tunnel, BTS Universe, and the Galaxy Aisle. Do note that you are not allowed to capture photos and videos flashed on the screen inside the VR Room. However, some areas of the exhibit such as The Seven Planet Showcase, The Army Way, TMA History, and The Post Show: Meteor Shower strictly do not allow visitors to capture photos and videos.
