'Queen behavior': Rabiya Mateo offers her home to drag queens from Baguio who were scammed by their Airbnb host
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo proved that she is a queen with a big heart, and netizens are loving her for it.
Mateo opened her home to drag queens who traveled all the way from Baguio City to attend a drag show at Bonifacio Global City on Oct. 27.
According to a post by Peabo Orilla, the five queens who were competing in Nectar Nightclub's Drag Cartel, were scammed of their accommodations. Orilla called on those in the BGC area to help provide the Baguio artists a place to do their makeup.
"BGC area! Mabuhay! Yung Baguio Queens kasama yung reigning queen [na-scam] ng Airbnb nila. Walang matuluyan kahit pag-aayusan lang for Drag Cartel mamaya. They need help," he wrote.
As netizens in the comments section promoted the post, Mateo commented on it, offering her abode.
"They can stay at my place sa BGC. Not that big pero they are welcome po," the beauty queen wrote.
Other users began to applaud Mateo's kindness, writing "Grabe queen things," "Queen behavior!" and "Truly a queen! God bless you always."
Orilla later shared a video of the Baguio queens at Mateo's place. "Safe na sila!!! Thank you, Rabiya Mateo for the help. Thank you din sa mga nag-offer."
