Rufa Mae Quinto got noticed by Jessi!
The K-pop star dropped a comment on a TikTok clip of the comedienne's performance on ABS-CBN's reality singing competition Your Face Sounds Familiar, where the latter performed Jessi's 2022 hit Zoom.
In the video, Rufa Mae can be seen gamely attempting the pre-chorus' Korean lyrics before mumbling them and breaking into her trademark comedic moves.
The post reached the K-pop star, who wrote in the comments section, "What's going on," accompanied by crying and laughing emojis.
"You're not supposed to see this, queen," a TikTok user said in the same thread.
"Sino nag-tag kay Jessi? Hahahahhahahahahaha," commented another.
Jessi also left crying emojis on an Instagram post showing some of Quinto's photos taken during her YFSF performance.
Quinto bared in a behind-the-scenes video of the show that she did find her number challenging.
"''Yung lyrics kasi, Korean eh. Tsaka pano ko babasahin 'yun? Ang hirap eh. 'Yung spelling, iba-iba," she said.
