Celeste Cortesi says things 'are good' with boyfriend amid breakup rumors
Celeste Cortesi has set the record straight regarding rumors that she and her partner Jonathan Sterling have called it quits.
Through now-expired Instagram stories, the beauty queen reassured fans that things are going well between them as they focus on their child, whom they are expecting.
"Jonny and I are good. Our focus remains on caring for our child, Sergio, and supporting our family," she wrote. "I believe some situations call for greater consideration and respect, especially when a child and family are already involved."
"Our priority is our family, and that is where our time, energy, and attention will remain. With that said, people can now relax and focus on their own lives instead," she added.
While Cortesi did not give details about what might have sparked the rumor, claims have been circulating online that actress and fellow beauty queen Bianca Manalo was involved as a third party.
However, Manalo's management, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, has issued a statement denying the matter and confirmed that she is single.
"On behalf of our Sparkle Artist, Bianca Manalo, we would like to clarify that there is no truth to rumors circulating about her involvement with another couple. She is single and not in any relationship. We hope this settles the matter and that we all continue to spread and click kindness instead," they wrote.
Previously, Manalo dated Sen. Win Gatchalian since 2018.
Meanwhile, Cortesi first announced her pregnancy on April 19 in an Instagram post showing her side profile and ultrasound captures of her baby. She later revealed that she is expecting a baby boy, whom they named Sergio.
