Pia Wurtzbach celebrates 33rd birthday with Barbie-inspired shoot, charity event

Pia Wurtzbach celebrated her 33^rd birthday not only with glitz and glam, but also with a charity event she’s been holding annually for seven years now. 

The Miss Universe 2015 titleholder wowed her followers with her stunning Instagram posts from her Barbie-inspired photo and video shoot, with BJ Pascual as the photographer and Eldzs Mejia as the creative director. Her hair and makeup were done by Renz Pangilinan and Mickey See, respectively. The beauty queen was styled by Perry Tabora for her birthday shoot. 

She captioned another reel, where she can be seen in another pink look, with: “A very Happy Barbie Birthday to me.” 

As she turned another year older, Wurtzbach also made sure to stay “confidently beautiful with a heart” by holding her annual birthday charity event.

“Time well spent at the Missionaries of Charity for Elderly People. Thank you PIANATICS for being there with me today,” she wrote on Twitter as she shared some snaps of the food, grocery items, and other essentials she gave out to the elderly. 

“For 7 years in a row, we visit this place yearly where we also get together on my birthday. I love you guys so much,” she added, referring to her fans who have been with her at her charity events each year. 

Wurtzbach also had a grand birthday party to mark her 33^rd year. “I never celebrate and host my birthday cos I’m usually working on that day, so this is a first for me,” she wrote in an Instagram post, expressing gratitude to everyone who celebrated her special day with her. 

“Cheers to another year. I’m feeling very grateful and inspired,” she added.
