Henry Cavill, Natalie Viscuso welcome first child—reports
British actor Henry Cavill and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso have welcomed their first child.
While details about the baby's arrival, including the child's name, sex, or birthdate, have not yet been shared, reports said that the actors are now parents.
Photos published by The Daily Mail on Jan. 18 show Cavill and Viscuso pushing a baby stroller in Queensland's Gold Coast in Australia. A source also confirmed the news to People Magazine.
In case you didn't know, the 41-year-old The Witcher actor is currently in Australia, filming for his upcoming live-action Voltron movie.
In April 2024, Cavill announced that he is expecting his first child soon with his Viscuso. He shared that he was expecting in an interview with Access Hollywood at the premiere of his spy comedy film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
"I'm very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it. I'm sure you'll see much more of that," Cavill said as he was asked if his parents inspired him to take on fatherhood.
Cavill previously touched upon his desire for parenthood when he spoke with Men's Health U.K. in 2017.
"If I ever have kids one day, I want to be the dad who’s running round after them," he said. "And if I do have kids, even now, it’s starting to get quite late. But I want to be a fit and healthy dad, not hobbling around like, 'OK, I’m just going to catch a breather.' Yeah, I’m going to take care of my body—look good, but not smash it."
Cavill and Viscuso made their romance public back in 2021 when the actor shared a photo of themselves playing chess on Instagram.
"This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess," he captioned the picture.
Viscuso is known for being featured on the first season of MTV's My Super Sweet 16 in 2005. She is also the vice president at Roy Lee's Vertigo Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based production company behind Prime Video's Them: Covenant.
Cavill is meanwhile known for his portrayal of Superman in various DC films. However, in December 2022, he announced that he would no longer be returning to play the iconic superhero following a meeting with director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran, who took the reins of DC Studios in October.
Aside from being Superman, he played Charles Brandon in Showtime's The Tudors, Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix fantasy series The Witcher, and Sherlock Holmes in Enola Holmes.
