Veteran TV host Boy Abunda clarified the rumors about Bimby Aquino Yap entering the showbiz industry after he and Bimby were seen in photos with some executives of Cornerstone Entertainment.

In a July 5 episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the TV host said that he hosted a private dinner for an "exploratory meeting" to discuss Bimby's possible showbiz career.

“Doon sa pag-uusap namin, we were trying to explore kung ano ang mga puwedeng mangyari, the possibilities. Puwede bang mag-artista si Bimb, ano ba ang aming gagawin? But it was more of an exploratory meeting," he said.

Boy, who also serves as the guardian of Bimby, said that he has consent from Bimby's mom Kris Aquino who is currently in the United States for her medical treatment.

"Kasulukuyan po, ang Cornerstone team ay nasa U.S. and we are hoping na magkausap si Kris at ang Cornerstone, pati na rin po si Bimb ay nakabalik na po sa America,” Abunda declared.

“Kung may developments po ang kuwentong ito ay ibabahagi ko po sa inyo,” he continued.

On June 27, the multimedia entertainment agency posted a photo of what appears a contract signing, with Kris and James Yap's son, Bimby, posing with the agency’s president Erickson Raymundo, vice president Jeffrey Vadillo, and senior artist handler Cristine Calawod.

“The Cornerstone fam with Bimb. Exciting days are truly ahead for the young star!” the post read.

Meanwhile, Josh and Bimby had returned to the United States to visit their mom Kris.

"Kuya & Bimb are my living reminders to not give up because they still need a healthier mama. ‘Pag mahal mo, hinding hindi ka susuko, itutuloy ang LABAN.

"Tonight i’ll sleep “siksik” in between my 2 giants. Muling nabuo kaming 3, thank you God for making me a very happy mama," the former actress and TV host said.
