Jose Manalo and former EB Babe Mergene Maranan are now married
Eat Bulaga mainstay host Jose Manalo and former EB Babe Mergene Maranan have officially tied the knot.
A stunning beach wedding video of Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna was shared on the official Eat Bulaga Facebook page, capturing the couple's joyful walk down the path.
"Congratulations Jose and Mergene," the caption read.
Maranan opted for a timeless look, wearing a white A-line gown with a scoop neckline that gracefully flowed from her waist. Manalo, on the other hand, looked dapper in a salmon pink suit and white bow tie.
The wedding comes weeks after Manalo popped the question in a video posted by Maranan on Instagram. The comedian was seen singing Yeng Constantino's hit, Ikaw, as he walked from the dining hall to the pool area to ask the latter, "Will you marry me?"
"The easiest YES I've ever said," the former dancer wrote in the caption.
Last week, the couple shared vintage-themed prenup photos taken by Mico Gonzales last April at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan.
The two have been private about their relationship, but reports say they met on the set of Eat Bulaga.
Maranan was a member of the noontime show's dance group, the EB Babes, from 2006 to 2020. Meanwhile, Manalo was previously married to Anna Lyn Santos, who died in January 2022. They shared five children, including the actors Benj and Nicco Manalo.
