From their sensual Señorita cover to their own K-drama.

Girls’ Generation’s Yoona and 2PM’s Junho are confirmed to be the leads of the upcoming K-drama rom-com King the Land, according to a report from Newsen

King The Land tells the story of chaebol heir (or the child of prestigious business moguls) Goo Won who meets Cheon Sa-rang in a quest to find the true meaning of happiness amid the inheritance war. Per Newsen, King The Land is referred to as a snazzy business lounge for VVIPs.

Yoona will portray Cheon Sa-rang, a newly-hired employee at the King Hotel who “makes the world brighter with her smile.” Meanwhile, Junho will play the role of Goo Won, a chaebol who’s in the running to inherit the prestigious King Group conglomerate.

All of Us Are Dead scriptwriter Cheon Sung-il will reportedly participate in the production of the series. Npio Entertainment, the production company behind Forecasting Love and Weather and The Red Sleeve, will be producing the drama.

Filming is set to begin “filming this fall,” however, the report didn’t state the exact date.

The schedule and broadcast platform have yet to be revealed, as of this writing.

Yoona debuted as the center, visual, and lead dancer of the K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation in 2007. On the other hand, Junho is best known as the main vocalist and lead dancer of the boy group 2PM.
