Hilary Swank expecting her third child at 52
Hilary Swank is expanding her family once again!
The 52-year-old Oscar-winning actress announced she is pregnant with her third child in a creative Instagram video alongside her husband, Philip Schneider, featuring their family dancing in glow-in-the-dark stick figure outfits that revealed her baby bump.
She captioned the post: “A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December.”
Fans flooded the comments section with heartwarming support, with one user sharing, "At 39 I'm still single and childless. You are literally giving me hope that the life I want could still happen for me."
Another added, "This makes me so happy... I’m currently trying after a late miscarriage at 42... never too late to grow the family."
The news comes three years after the couple welcomed their twins, Aya and Ohm.
Reflecting on her journey to motherhood later in life, Swank previously opened up to People about prioritizing her career first, noting, “I knew I wanted kids someday, but I wasn’t planning what that would look like... If I had had a kid in my 20s or my 30s, I think I’d be a much different parent than I am now.”
“I have that more kind of ability to really give them my attention in a way that I wouldn’t have as much at that point because it would’ve been pulled between the two in a very distinct way. In my career being so established, I have the ability to kind of step in and step out when I choose, and that is just such a blessing," Swank added.
