All seven members of K-pop boy group BTS have briefly reunited with Jin, their eldest member and the first to start his military enlistment requirement.
On Saturday, March 25, Suga posted an Instagram story of him, Jin, J-Hope, RM, and Jungkook together. Absent from the photo but present earlier in the reunion were V (also known as Taehyung) and Jimin.
"Taehyung and Jimin were here with us (left 10 mins early)," Suga captioned his story.
Jin finished his Completion Ceremony on Jan. 18, a month after entering the recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province in December 2022 as part of his mandatory military service.
Currently on vacation before resuming his military duties, Jin's official discharge date is on June 12, 2024. This marks his first vacation since he enlisted.
BTS is presently taking a hiatus from group activities, during which they will focus on solo projects and fulfill their military enlistment requirements.
BTS is widely considered South Korea's biggest-ever cultural phenomenon, selling out stadiums worldwide, dominating the charts, raking in billions, and building a global legion of fans known as ARMY. According to the Guinness World Records, it is the "most popular group in the world."
