Vanessa Hudgens welcomes first child with Cole Tucker—reports
Vanessa Hudgens is now a mom!
According to reports from international media including People Magazine and Daily Mail, the High School Musical star has given birth to her first child with her husband, MLB player Cole Tucker.
Vanessa and Cole were photographed leaving a Santa Monica hospital on Wednesday, July 3—the same day as Cole’s birthday. They were also assisted by a nurse and a companion going to their car, as seen in the TMZ report.
The child’s birthdate, sex, and name have yet to be unveiled.
Before the news, Vanessa posted a birthday greeting to her husband on her Instagram account.
“Happy birthday to my slice of heaven [Cole Tucker], you make the world a brighter place just by being you,” she wrote in the caption.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2020 when they were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles, before officially going “Instagram official” on Valentine’s Day in 2021.
They got engaged early in 2023 and officially tied the knot in December of the same year in Mexico.
Vanessa first revealed her pregnancy during the 2024 Academy Awards ceremony on March 11 (PH Time). She strutted the red carpet donning a black long-sleeved, floor-length dress that further showcased her baby bump.
The Fil-American actress rose to fame for her role in Disney’s High School Musical.
She also starred in movies like The Princess Switch, Bad Boys for Life, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, and Tick, Tick… Boom!.
She was named the global tourism ambassador for the Philippines and visited the country for the first time in March 2023 to shoot a travel documentary about her Filipino roots.
