Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's daughter drops surname in high school graduation ceremony
The daughter of former celebrity couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise appears to have dropped her father's surname during her high school graduation ceremony.
Page Six reported that Suri Noelle Cruise, 18, got her diploma from LaGuardia High School in New York with Holmes by her side.
The graduation ceremony pamphlet showed Suri going by "Suri Noelle" while other graduating students in the list had their surnames. It is unclear whether she legally dropped the surname.
Photos obtained by the publication showed her walking with her 45-year-old mom outside a brick building and her hugging a friend. She can also be seen wearing a white dress under her red graduation robe and donning white sandals with floral embellishments. Holmes, meanwhile, wore cream-colored long-sleeve shirt and pleated pants, as well as silver sandals.

Holmes and Cruise got married in 2006 and divorced in 2012. Suri is their only child.
Holmes is known for her role in the drama series Dawson's Creek. Her movies include Disturbing Behavior, Go, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, and Batman Begins.
Cruise, meanwhile, is known for the Mission Impossible franchise, the Top Gun movies, The Color of Money, Rain Man, and Born on the Fourth of July.
