Bianca King reveals she became Ralph Wintle's girlfriend on the day they met
Bianca King opened up about her love story with her husband Ralph Wintle, including how she became his girlfriend on the day they first met.
In an interview on ABS-CBN's Magandang Buhay, the former actress recalled how people kept telling her she had to meet Ralph during the wedding of his brother, Ben, with Iza Calzado in 2018. "Hinanap ko na kung sino 'yung Ralph, so nung buong gabi na 'yun, I was observing him na. So nung nagspeech siya, ayun, may hearts na 'ko sa mata ko," she said.
Bianca said she was sure about making him her boyfriend at the time. "May mga iba pang single girls dun na apparently, the previous day, inilalako din sa kanya. So, after ng speech na 'yun, gumanun na ako sa kanya sa dance floor, binakuran ko siya. I made sure walang ibang single girls na makalapit, akin na 'to."
"Actually, in my head, I believe I said to one of my friends that [he's] gonna be my next boyfriend," she shared.
The local personality described Ralph as the "full package."
"Alam ko na eh, kasi 'yung package, ganyan lahat. Parang [he's] the full package kahit na hindi ko pa siya masyadong kakilala. The fact na kapatid ni Ben, nakikita ko 'yung parents niya, nandoon, and 'yung family. So parang mayroon na akong idea na good family, good values," she recalled.
"Long story short, from that point on, parang naging kami na nung night na 'yun. Parang mayroon na kaming understanding," she said.
In the same interview, Iza recalled how things happened so fast between Bianca and Ralph. "Dec. 19 sila nagkakilala sa wedding namin, aba nung 25th, Pasko, kasi si Bianca, ang family niya, nasa Canada. Sabi ni Ralph sa amin nun, 'Is it okay if we invite Bianca?'"
To which, Iza and their family said yes. "We knew already, 'Ay, click 'yung dalawa.'"
"From that point on, nagback and forth na kami pareho. Take turns kami, siya pupunta dito, ako sa Australia," Bianca said, referring to their long-distance relationship that lasted for a year.
"There was always something to look forward to kasi parang bago kami umalis, we'd book the next flight na when we're going to see each other again and that's how you know din na serious siya kasi you're both investing time, resources to continue the relationship," she said, sharing that it "wasn't challenging" for them as they were "both willing to do anything it takes to keep the relationship going."
Bianca and Ralph got married in June 2021. The couple opted for a simple wedding ceremony, which took place in the living room their home in Sydney, Australia.
She announced her pregnancy in August 2022 and introduced their first child in March last year.
