Gab Valenciano grieves the passing of his pet dog: 'He was a blessing beyond definition'
Gab Valenciano paid tribute to his dog, Vader, recalling how much joy he brought to him, especially during the “darkest seasons of [Gab’s] life" in the past four years.
The director-performer took to Instagram to grieve the passing of his pet, sharing a carousel of videos and photos of some of their special memories together.
“There really are no words but I will try,” he began. "My heart is shattered. There is a very deep sense of pain and sadness looming over me now that you’re gone, but I will choose to focus on the years of pure joy you gave me, my family and my loved ones."
Gab went on to express how grateful he is that his pup became one of his trusted confidants in times of need.
He continued, "You were a very, very good boy through and through and you helped me power through the darkest seasons of my life.
The 35-year-old singer-dancer went on to express how blessed he is to have cared for Vader, who he described as the “sweetest and kindest dog.”
“He was the sweetest and kindest dog. To call myself ‘lucky’ would be an understatement; he was a blessing beyond definition. A one in a billion dog that made my days very happy ones,” he continued.
“Vader, I loved you then, I love you now and will love you multiple lifetimes over. Till we meet again my baby bear prince,” he concluded his post. Gab also expressed gratitude for everyone who loved and cared for his fur baby.
Fellow Celebrities and Gab's family poured their messages of love and condolences in the comments section of his post.
“This made me cry son. I love you so much and can feel your grief,” his mom, Angeli Valenciano wrote.
“Love you kuys,” Kiana commented.
“Brooo. Mahigpit na yakap brother, Run free Vader,” actor Jak Roberto also commented.
Gab moved back to Los Angeles for good in April. He currently joins his dad, “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano in his Gary V: Reenergized U.S. and Canada tour as part of the celebration of his 40th year in showbiz.
