Paris Hilton welcomes baby boy via surrogacy: ‘It’s always been my dream to be a mother’
Paris Hilton is now a mom!
The TV personality welcomed her first child with her husband, businessman Carter Reum via surrogate.
Paris announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 25, showing a photo of her gently holding her baby boy’s hand. “You are already loved beyond words,” she captioned her post, which she accompanied by an emoji of a blue heart.
“It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” she told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview.
“We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy,” she added.
In an interview with the media outlet in December, Paris bared her plans to start a family with the love of her life, with whom she tied the knot in November 2021. She shared that they decided to start an in-vitro fertilization process at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
"We started going and doing it like a few months in because the world was shut down," she said at the time. "We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, 'This is perfect timing. Usually, I'm on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let's just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,' and we have tons of them just waiting."
Congratulations, Paris and Carter!
