Katy Perry addresses her viral onstage 'glitching' eye moment
When you're performing on stage, every single move counts. And for Katy Perry's recent performance during her Las Vegas, a couple of seconds of eye twitching was all it took to go viral.
During the end of an October show of her Las Vegas residency, Perry's right eye appears to be stuck shut. She touches her temple to open her eye, then it goes back to being closed yet again.
It then returns to normal before she grabs her mic and goes on with the show.

A number of netizens have jumped on the video to joke about the moment, from Perry having a "programming glitch," a "clone malfunction," to downright calling her a robot. While for others, it was as simple as her lash glue getting caught in her eye.
In an Instagram post, the pop star addressed the claims with her usual good-natured self and even referred to the moment as a "broken doll eye party trick."
"Welcoming all my #flatearthers #spaceisfakers #birdsarentrealers #skyisntbluers to come see my broken doll eye party trick IRL in Vegas next year!" she wrote. "The show’s set list is a fun through memory lane going all the way back to 2008, a time when we weren’t all frozen by the paranoia of our own echo chambers!"
Taking the opportunity to promote the Las Vegas shows, she went on to call them a "nonstop party."
"This show is a nonstop party about finding unconditional love and strangely (for me) not political at all, heck I pour beer out of my tits (that’s a party trick too… I don’t actually lactate hops silly goose!"
Perry recently welcomed her first child, Daisy Dove, with actor Orlando Bloom. She has been performing in Resorts World Las Vegas for her first concert residency titled Play.
