GALLERY: Miss Universe Philippines 2025 candidates display confidence in swimsuit portraits
Is it hot in here, or is it just the ladies of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 competition?
The 69 contestants turned heads with their official swimsuit photos, giving fans a glimpse of the fierce competition to come.
Before this, they dazzled Pinoy pageant fans with their captivating evening glam photos, showing confidence and poise in their elegant gowns and fashion-forward looks.
This year's local tilt sees a few pageant veterans gracing the stage again, including Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Marie Aduana (Siniloan, Laguna), Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen "Winwyn" Marquez (Muntinlupa City), and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 second runner-up and Miss International 2018 first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo (Quezon Province).
Also in the mix are Miss Globe 2022 semi-finalist Chelsea Fernandez (Sultan Kudarat) and Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 fifth runner-up Katrina Llegado (Taguig City).
The MUPh organization is now being led by Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella Arida as its new National Director for Training and Development.

The MUPh 2025 coronation night is happening on May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan will crown her successor at the sixth edition of the pageant. The winner will then represent the Philippines at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Thailand on Nov. 21.
