Jenny Ramp is Miss Philippines Earth 2022
Jenny Ramp has been crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2022.
Ramp is a BS Psychology student who hopes to educate people about ecological sustainability. "During the pandemic, we learned that keeping our world clean is vital to our survival. The pandemic made us realize that the Earth really needed to breathe and now that life is slowly becoming how it was before the pandemic era, we should not forget to also take care of our home, the Earth," as stated in her pageant profile.
"By teaching people, especially the youth and the marginalized sector, I am sure we can be sustainable and choose green ways over polluting our home," she added.

Ramp was asked about the obstacles she is currently facing during the question-and-answer segment, where she opened up that her battle is "against myself."
"Every single day, I strive to be the better version of myself and during this pageant, I certainly battled myself. I dealt with insecurities. I felt alone. But this empowered me to do better, to do better for myself, for my family, for my friends, and for environment," she said.
The Miss Earth Philippines 2022 coronation day was held on Saturday, Aug. 6 in Coron, Palawan.
Ramp was followed by Jimema Tempra (Miss Philippines Air 2022), Angel Santos (Miss Philippines Water 2022), Eryka Vina Talavera Tan (Miss Philippines Fire 2022), and Nice Lampad (Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2022).
The MPE 2022 pageant is set to air on Sunday, Aug. 7 on A2Z at 10:00 a.m.
