Cagayan de Oro's Nikki de Moura wins Miss Grand Philippines
Nikki De Moura of Cagayan de Oro emerged as the first-ever winner of the inaugural Miss Grand Philippines. She is the country's first representative to the international pageant under ALV Pageant Circle.
The 19-year-old model bested 29 other delegates during the coronation night held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Thursday, July 13. She was crowned by her predecessor Roberta Angela Tamondong, Miss Grand International (MGI) president and founder Nawat Itsaragrisil, national director Arnold L. Vegafria, and reigning Miss Grand International Isabella Menin of Brazil.
Aside from the coveted crown, the half-Pinay, half-Brazilian beauty queen was also named Miss Bench, Miss Philippine Airlines, Miss Photogenic, and one of Skin Element's five brand ambassadors.
The Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023 title went to Michelle Arceo of Bagumbayan, Quezon City. She also won Best in Swimsuit, Miss Hello Glow, and Miss Acqua Boracay.
Meanwhile, comedienne Herlene Budol took home the Miss Philippines Tourism title. She also won Miss Bluewater Day Spa, Miss Ever Bilena, Miss Arena Plus, Miss Mermaid Manila Hair, and Best in Runway.
Francine Reyes of Tarlac was hailed Miss Eco Teen Philippines. The beauty queen was also proclaimed as Miss K-Magic, an ALV Talent, and one of Skin Element's five ambassadors.
Shanon Tampon of Caloocan City and Charie Sergio of Caluya, Antique finished as first and second runner-up. Shannon was named as Miss Multimedia, while Charie was named as Best in Evening Gown.
Apart from the crowns, the winners will each receive cash prizes, a management contract with the ALV Pageant Circle, and movie deals with Octo Arts Films and ALV Films.
Nikki will represent the Philippines in the Miss Grand International pageant this October.
