‘Todo na tour?’: Rufa Mae Quinto trends online for performing in both Marcos Jr. and Pacquiao’s presidential rallies

Who is Rufa Mae Quinto really supporting in the May 2022 polls? The comedienne became the talk of the town for performing in two presidential campaigns for the upcoming elections.

On March 29, she entertained the audience at a UniTeam rally headed by presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate, vice presidential hopeful Sara Duterte-Carpio.

On April 4, she then gave mixed signals as she made a surprise appearance at another sortie—this time, for Manny Pacquiao, who is also seeking a presidential seat next month.

Netizens were quick to call her a “hustle queen” and said her move was indeed in line with her branding.

“Other celebs don’t participate in any campaign rallies just to detach themselves from these political affairs. While we have Ruffa Mae who might be joining each of these presidential rallies,” a Twitter user said.

“Honestly, it is very Ruffa Mae of her to do so,” another one tweeted.

“Ruffa Mae can now say, ‘I can sing at your event. But am I going to vote for you? That’s the question,’” an Internet user wrote with a laughing emoji.

“Maybe Ruffa Mae is the real president,” said a netizen.

Local celebrities and personalities have been attending various proclamation rallies to promote their bets for the 2022 elections. Voting for the officials for executive and legislative posts at the national, provincial, and local levels is slated for May 9.
