Claudia Barretto weds long-time boyfriend Basti Lorenzo

Claudia Barretto and her non-showbiz boyfriend Basti Lorenzo have tied the knot.

The couple exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony at St. James the Great Parish in Muntinlupa attended by her mother Marjorie Baretto, siblings Julia, Dani, Leon, and Erich, and father Dennis Padilla.

Claudia donned an off-shoulder A-line satin wedding gown and opted for a simple updo. Meanwhile, Basti looked dapper in a classic Barong Tagalog.

In addition to their immediate family, the couple also welcomed celebrities and personalities Leyte 4th District Rep. Richard Gomez, his wife Ormoc mayor Lucy Torres, and Hannah and Ella Pangilinan.

Their reception was held at Lakehall in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Basti is the son of business tycoon Martin Ignacio Lorenzo, who used to run Del Monte Philippines and Pancake House before it was acquired by Max's Group of Companies in 2014. He's also the brother of Erich Gonzales' husband Mateo Lorenzo.

According to showbiz outlet PEP.ph, Claudia and Basti began dating when she was 15 and have mostly kept their relationship private. In an interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda in 2017, the singer shared a look into their relationship. 

"We're just like every other couple. We go out. We go on dates. We hang out at each other's houses. It's super normal," she shared at the time, adding that she talked about their relationship with her mom Marjorie.

"Every stage. Like when he first started asking me out, when I started liking him. I was very vocal about it and I told my mom everything."

In the same year, Claudia released a single titled Stay. 

Estranged father Padilla, in a now-deleted Instagram post, shared a cryptic message claiming he was treated as a "visitor" at his daughter's wedding.
