Excited to watch Choi Woo-shik and Park Bo-young in one drama?

According to a report by Korean media Soompi, the two Hallyu stars are planning to headline the upcoming romantic comedy series Romantic Movie which will be written by Lee Na-eun—the same writer who helmed the hit series Our Beloved Summer.

Bo-young's agency, BH Entertainment confirmed that the Strong Girl Bong Soon star is “positively reviewing” the project; she is reportedly reviewing the role of Kim Moo-bi, an assistant director who will become a film director, inspired by her father who worked in the same industry.

Meanwhile, Woo-shik's agency has yet to comment on the matter. He was offered the role of Go Gyeom, a former extra-turned-film critic who will cross paths with Moo-bi later on, sparking their romance.

The comical romance TV series will follow the story of young individuals who try to thrive amid hardships, all while pursuing dreams and romance. Further details about the cast, director, and release date are yet to be announced.

Bo-young is best known for her roles in the TV series Strong Girl Bong Soon, Oh My Ghost, and Doom at Your Service. Choi Woo-shik, meanwhile, made his acting debut in 2011. Some of his popular roles are in films and TV shows Parasite, Our Beloved Summer, Youn’s Kitchen, and Train to Busan.
