Natalie Portman on welcoming her 3rd baby at 45: 'Full of wonder and joy'
Natalie Portman is embracing motherhood.
In an Oct. 26 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Oscar-winning actress said she feels "full of wonder and joy" after welcoming her third child in August at 45 years old.
“It gives me a whole new attention to my big kids, too, as I am reminded of how recently they were these little fresh creations and how quickly they’ve blossomed into incredible humans with their own amazing personalities and senses of humor and ideas,” she opened up.
The newborn is Portman’s first child with her partner, French electronic musician and producer Tanguy Destable. She also has two children with her former husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied: son Aleph, 15, and daughter Amalia, 9.
Portman announced her third pregnancy in April, expressing her excitement about the news with Harper’s Bazaar. She also described the experience as a "privilege and a miracle."
“There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp,” she said in the April interview. “And there’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day.”

"I’m just very grateful," she added.
Portman and Destable were first romantically linked in 2025 after her separation from Millepied in 2023 following an 11-year marriage.
Portman, known for her roles in Léon: The Professional, Black Swan and the Thor franchise, is also set to star in the upcoming films The Gallerist and Good Sex.
