Sarah Lahbati confirms she's currently single amid breakup rumors with Richard Gutierrez
Sarah Lahbati confirmed her split from husband Richard Gutierrez.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress said that she can be considered single currently.
"I mean there's nothing to hide. I think [it's] pretty clear to the public, both of us. I think," she told the outlet.
Lahbati also talked about how she left the house she shared with the actor earlier in the year and that they share duties in taking care of their children Zion and Kai.
"Yes, that happened in January," she said.
On issues that have been surfacing regarding their relationship, Sarah said she's taking it lightly because "life is short, we can’t be serious all the time, we have to take things lightly, enjoy life, count our blessings. Wala akong time ma-offend,"
The actress recently said in an interview with Frontline Pilipinas that she and Gutierrez weren't on speaking terms but have a co-parenting setup.
"It's not easy on any child but I'm here for them, and they're better.... We're good at parenting. We are there for the kids. That's all I'm gonna say," she said.
Rumors of their breakup began in October 2023 as social media users noticed the couple hadn't been sharing photos together and had been spending time with their kids separately.
Annabelle Rama, Gutierrez's mother, revealed in December that Richard had been staying with her for a month.
The two also unfollowed each other on Instagram in January 2024.
Gutierrez and Lahbati got married in 2020 after dating for eight years.
