K-pop girl group UNIS, which has three Pinays, to debut on March 27: report
K-pop lovers, get ready to stan a new South Korean girl group that has Filipino members: UNIS.
Soompi reported that its agency F&F Entertainment confirmed that UNIS will make its debut on March 27.
The group has eight members: Hyeonju, Nana, Gehlee, Kotoko, Yunha, Elisia, Yoona, and Seowon. Hyeonju, Gehlee and Elisia are from the Philippines, while Nana and Kotoko are from Japan.
It was formed at the South Korean reality competition show Universe Ticket.
The group name was derived from the phrases “Universe is started” and “U&I story,” according to Soompi.
