Filipina actress Chantal Videla is introduced as one of the members of new K-pop group Lapillus

South Korean talent agency MLD Entertainment has announced the whole roster of its newest K-pop group Lapillus, including Filipina-Argentinian actress Chantal Videla.

On the official Twitter account of its next female act, MLD, best known for producing the infamous girl group Momoland, shared a snapshot of Videla.

According to the post, the 19-year-old Filipino-Argentinian performer would debut under the stage name "Chanty."

In November 2021, MLD revealed that Videla is among their roster of trainees. Since then, she has appeared in the music videos of her labelmates JT & Marcus and Lylian.

Videla was a member of Star Magic Circle Batch 2018 prior to working in Korea. She appeared in ABS-CBN's Hiwaga ng Kambat and Starla

Meanwhile, other members of the K-pop group were also introduced; they are Shana, Haeun, Seowon, Yue, and Bessie.

Together with Chanty, the ladies will make their debut on June 20. Get to know them a little more below.

Nonaka Shana or "Shana" is a 19-year-old Japanese woman who appeared on the reality show Girls Planet 999 last year. While Haeun, who was born in 2008, will be the youngest member of the girl group when she makes her debut.

Seowon is 15 years old and was born in 2006, while Yue (aka Nancy Yang) is a 17-year-old American who speaks Korean, English, and Chinese fluently.

Bessie

Bessie was born on July 15, 2004, and was unveiled as a member alongside Chanty.
