Jessica Sanchez to be inducted into Asian Hall of Fame
America's Got Talent 2025 winner Jessica Sanchez will be named among the 2026 inductees into the Asian Hall of Fame, Billboard announced on Sept. 30.
Sanchez, along with BLACKPINK icon Rosé and 13 other inductees and goodwill ambassadors, will be honored during the Asian Hall of Fame's 22nd induction ceremony on Nov. 5 in Los Angeles, California.
"During times of worldwide conflict, Asian Hall of Fame serves as a beacon of cross-cultural collaboration and interracial synergy," said Maki Hsieh, president and CEO of Asian Hall of Fame, in a statement.
"Class of 2026 inductees and goodwill ambassadors are role models whose endearing legacies advance culture, commerce, and community for generations to come," Hsieh added.
On its website, the US-based non-profit organization describes Asian Hall of Fame as a "cross-cultural platform dedicated to advancing Asian and Native legacy, early-career achievement, and interracial collaboration for the betterment of all."
Sanchez broke into the entertainment industry at only 11 years old, when she joined the first season of America's Got Talent. She didn't make it past the semi-finals, but Sanchez tried again at 16, in season 11 of American Idol, where she finished as runner-up.
The Filipino-American singer then released an album, which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Pop Charts, went on a US tour, performed in the Philippines, and appeared as a guest on the musical TV series Glee.
On Season 20 of America's Got Talent, Sanchez did a full circle and joined again, this time heavily pregnant with her first child. She went on to win the competition.
On May 16, 2026, Sanchez headlined her first major concert in the Philippines at the Smart Araneta Coliseum with a star-studded lineup of local guests.
