RM’s documentary chronicles his eight-month journey discovering his “true self” both as an artist and an individual while making his second solo album Right Place, Wrong Person. It was directed by Lee Seokjun, who also previously worked with his co-member, j-Hope for Arson and MORE.
It was among the official selections for the “Open Cinema” session of the 29th Busan International Film Festival in October.
The film will also have its premiere in several countries in Asia and Latin America.
RM, whose real name is Kim Namjoon, debuted with BTS in 2013. He enlisted in South Korea’s mandatory military service in December 2023.
Prior to this, he made his solo debut with the album Indigo in 2022.
He released his second album Right Place, Wrong Person in May this year, which included songs LOST!, out of love, and Come back to me.
The BTS member was also featured in Megan Thee Stallion’s single, Neva Play, which was released in September.
